Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1 Arusha to Tarangire

   Your guide collects you from Arusha for the two-hour drive to Tarangire. After a relaxed lunch at your camp, set out on a game drive among elephants and baobabs.

2. Day2 Tarangire to Lake Manyara and Karatu

   Take a morning game drive, then drive to Lake Manyara for the afternoon, exploring the forest and lake shore. Continue to your boutique lodge in the Karatu highlands, set among coffee plantations.

3. Day3 Fly to the Serengeti

   Drive to the Lake Manyara airstrip for a scenic flight over the Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro highlands to the central Serengeti (about 45 minutes). Your guide meets you for a game drive on the way to camp.

4. Day4 Full day in the Serengeti

   Enjoy a full day with your private guide, with a bush breakfast on the plains and a sundowner as the light turns gold. Look for lion, leopard, cheetah and migration herds in season. Optional sunrise balloon flight.

5. Day5 Serengeti to Ngorongoro rim

   Fly back to the Lake Manyara airstrip after a morning game drive, then drive up to your luxury lodge on the Ngorongoro rim (about an hour) to watch the sunset over the caldera from your terrace.

6. Day6 Ngorongoro Crater and return to Arusha
